TOYS McCOY Marylin Monroe 'Anything Goes' B-15C Flight Jacket - Navy
The MA-1 stands as one of the most recognisable items of military gear in existence, with the good people at TOYS McCOY choosing to commemorate a special era of the jacket's history. This Marilyn Monroe iteration is inspired by the well known story of when the actress was gifted a B-15C when visiting the stationed soldiers in the Korean Peninsula in February of 1954. This version has been recreated with a dark blue, high-density, nylon shell and a soft mouton fur collar.
This short cut, and boxy shaped jacket has been fitted with knitted wool cuffs and waistband for the perfect comfort fit, and protection from the elements. Hand warmer pockets have been featured, which are fastened by mil spec snap fasteners. A custom manufactured zipper with leather tab has been used for the front fastening, covering a cotton wind plate underneath for added protection. Two interior pockets have also been included, along with a slip ammunition pocket on the sleeve which sits below the iconic ‘Army Air Forces’ insignia. If you're a fan of military history and Marilyn Monroe, then this classic jacket is for you.
